Since 2021 I’m doing Django (Python, JS) and Rescript programming for Kaiko systems, a German startup which is leading in software development for the maritime industry.

This year I started managing servers, doing security inspections and intervening for breakages and repairs on my own. Some of my first clients are:

Since 2016 I have work with Merchise Autrement, one of the bests Cuban teams with strong focus in process management and quality ensurance, in which I have learned Odoo programming, SEO, frontend development and how to manage continuous integration using gitlab. Working with them I manage servers which have not lost a byte in 5 years and have never get offline. Some servers I currently manage using Proxmox and Kubernetes:

• Cubania.com. This is a static site in which I have also develop the HTML/CSS theme, Python backend and the SEO.

• Mercurio. Here I have work also in the HTML/CSS theme and in the Odoo based backend.

I have worked as Jhonsilver on Freelancer.com with other three folks. Here we have earned 93 five stars reviews, not even one lesser. By the middle 2014 we have been rated among the top 5 Linux/Python freelancers in Latin America. While being a freelancer I have developed:

• And lots of shell scripts

While working in UCI first as student and later as teacher I have the oportunity to work within important gobernment projects. I can tell that I was once the team leader of Nova, the Cuban GNU/Linux distribution. Also I’m proud of my students who are carring the torch within Nova or have important parts in major developments like AppImage or Apklis. While in UCI i have:

• Deployed and managed restrictive proxy servers with 10 000 users behind (2015 - 2016).
• Managed LAMPP servers that hosted the informatic system for Cuban (2014) elections.
• Managed multiple instances of a hospital system in PDVSA network in Venezuela (2013).
• Colaborated with international projects such as Android X86, Lemote, LXDE and Zentyal (2009 - 2012).
• Developed a light weight desktop environment called Guano. Which make me won all contests for an engineering student in Cuba (2008 - 2009).
